My First Exhibition in Kuala Lumpur
In a city where Malay, Chinese, and Indian cultures blend together — different languages, faces, and ways of life. But once people stepped inside the gallery, those differences quietly faded.
My first time showing work in Kuala Lumpur.
This city holds so many worlds at once — Malay, Chinese, Indian. Different languages, different faces, different rhythms of life.
But once people stepped into the gallery, something shifted.
Some stopped to look. Some stood in silence, without a word — and yet, standing in front of the same piece, they felt the same thing.
That's when I understood: cultures can be different, but the feeling of being seen and accompanied — that's always the same.
Art is just a gentle way of saying what we all already know.
